(Y/n) looked back up at him "That was before, if we ever do get to leave this hell hole, you know well that I won't be going out when it starts to rain". "The rain is also a very pretty thing, you used to love it".

"I trust Mariah's words, she wouldn't lie" Gregor smiled.

(Y/n) looked down at their feet "She sounded quite skeptical while mentioning that, if anyone actually knew how to swim out of the five of us, that would be Anatoly". "I understand, but, I'm sure Mariah will be back, she wouldn't just leave us here without anything, she even said herself that she's a good swimmer!" Gregor said while sounding optimistic. It scares me even more after Mariah left and hasn't come back". "The rain is the main reason why we can't leave, Gregor. "I've noticed that you've also seemed a bit queasy when you look out the window, do you not like the rain". (Y/n) nodded and responded to him "None of us wanted to end up here". "We all know this isn't a pretty thing to be a part of". (Y/n) looked at him, walked towards the couch and sat next to him. "(Y/n), can you come sit next to me please". (Y/n) let out a long and nervous sigh, not excited to spend who knows how much of their life in a place they found claustrophobic with water sorrounding every single side of the cabin. It looked the same, nothing had changed at all, this was going to be a long wait. As much as they hated it, they walked to the window to see if the water had decreased by at least a bit. (Y/n) walked to the living room where Gregor was. Anatoly went to the bathroom to do whatever Anatoly does, probably think about the situation like most of them do. Gregor didn't say a word after trying it, and went back to the living room, Karin, Karin seemed delighted with the taste, both Anatoly and (Y/n) didn't seem to understand Karin's enthusiasm towards the meet. Today, they had some cutlets of meat to munch on, both Anatoly and (Y/n) didn't seem to enjoy it. In fact, Mariah's cries outside made them fear the rain even more, (Y/n) remember when Mariah exclaimed how cold the water was when she left the cabin, it wasn't something pretty to hear. It made them feel terrible that they couldn't do anything to help their dear friend. (Y/n) swore that sometimes they could hear Mariah's muffled cries and pleading outside in the rain. (Y/n) knew Mariah wouldn't be coming back. The rain was something that they used to enjoy, but in the current situation, it wasn't something so enjoyable anymore, listening to the the water each morning made them believe that it would never stop, the rain frightened them even more when their loving friend Mariah left the cabin to find food. Although some may find the sound relaxing, it really stressed a certain individual out, (Y/n).
